Using this site

Top Recommends is a community platform for local recommendations, events, and business features. By using the site or submitting a form, you agree to these terms. Do not submit false, misleading, or abusive content.

Recommendations and nominations

Recommendations and Business of the Month nominations are community submitted. Rankings and features are never sold. We may edit submissions for length and clarity, and we may decline to publish anything.

Paid production sessions

The Sit & Lit Interview Series is a paid production session priced at $1,497 per person, limited to 8 spots per date. Payment is processed by Stripe on a Stripe-hosted checkout page. Your spot is reserved when payment completes, and Craig confirms your time slot by email.

Deliverables are edited after the session and delivered by download link. Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees. Raw camera files are not part of the delivery. A Top Recommends feature article is not included in the session price.

Refund and rescheduling policy

  • Refund window. [PLACEHOLDER: Refunds are available up to XX days before your session date. After that, the session fee is non-refundable because crew time and studio time are booked in advance.]
  • Rescheduling. [PLACEHOLDER: You may reschedule once to another available date at no charge with at least XX days notice, subject to availability.]
  • No-shows. [PLACEHOLDER: Missed sessions without notice are not refundable and not rescheduled.]
  • Cancellation by us. [PLACEHOLDER: If we cancel or postpone a session, you may choose a full refund or a spot on the next available date.]
  • Transfers. [PLACEHOLDER: Your spot may be transferred to another person from your business with written notice at least XX days before the session.]

Media and usage rights

You receive rights to use the delivered photos and video for your own marketing. Top Recommends and its production partners retain the right to use session media in portfolio and promotional material unless you tell us in writing that you prefer otherwise.

Liability

The site and its services are provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question.

Changes and contact
